Ok, so my book is on its way to getting published, and the SEO work I am doing should help promote it. If I can sell 1,000 copies of my book I will make around £4,000. So with this money I need to carefully plan the next stage to make a million.
This morning my book [...]
Since I finished my book last night I decided to spend a little bit of time improving my Call of Duty blog. I think I can make a really witty, interesting, search optimised blog that doesn’t regurgitate the material I have used for my book.
I’ve been doing all the interlinking and its really going to [...]
Well after months of writing and days of editing and designing the cover, plus re-doing the cover to avoid trademark litigation I have finally finished my book!
I am now waiting for it to be approved, then I will receive my draft, pending its ok I will have a fully published book on Amazon in 20 [...]
So I’ve nearly finished my book and its up to 20,000 words now, twice the length of my dissertation on Auditor Independence: An Enron Case Study!
I’m hoping to finish it off tomorrow (well today but its past 1am and I’m not in bed yet) and then spend Sunday sorting out the cover, layout, fonts and [...]
Ok here is what I’ve worked out:
1. Your book has to be cheaper than any new copies (I would say at least £5 cheaper).
2. Your book has to be cheaper for any used items that are in a better condition (I’d say £0.50 per condition level).

So I was dead excited about selling my book for over £20, but I was a bit disappointed to find that Amazon had provided me with £2.02 for delivery and it came out at £10.99 for postage, packaging was probably around £0.50.
Bit of a rip off don’t you think? I think Amazon should have the [...]
Today I woke up, checked my emails, and I’ve sold another book, for £22.07!!! And whilst I was proudly telling everyone this (sad I know) I sold another for £9.97! So I’ve sold £40 worth of goods in two days of starting!
Ok so I’ve got a response, doesn’t look like I’ll be heading up a large company yet, but at least I may get some business out of it…
Email 5 (them to me)
B2C as you suspect.
We are NOT grouping the websites just the business behind them. From a consumer point of view there will be 4 [...]
So I got my free DVD for filling in a survey, Donny Darko, great film. There is currently an auction on Ebay for Donny Darko and its currently selling for £4.20 plus £1.50 P&P;! Unfortunately completed listings show they typically sell for around £3.00 (including P&P;).
Now I’ve worked out that I can’t even afford to [...]
Ok, so this morning I got all the unwanted books I have, all those programming books that you’ve read, all those non-fiction titles, all the fictions ones too in fact. So I got in total around 60 books and went through adding them onto Amazon, and I found some interesting things out.
Firstly fiction titles sell [...]
